Parag Fatehpuria Arranged Duke of Edinburgh Trek to Leh

Image
Feedback: Duke of Edinburgh Trek to Leh by Parag Fatehpuria First of All I would like to thank Mr. Parag Fatehpuria The Leh trek trip was very adventurous and exciting to be a part of. The trek was well planned with appropriate measure of rigour mixed with leisure and rest time. The logistics, equipment and supply arrangements were adequate for a trip requiring such physical & mental stamina. The flight transit time, especially at Delhi airport could have been shortened if possible; however it depends also on how soon the registration process begins and is finished. The arrangements pertaining to the camping equipment were also qualitative. The ground staff and handlers were very knowledgeable, well trained and were of timely assistance whenever and wherever required. Moreover there was seldom any doubt regarding our personal safety as well as about our personal luggage. The hotel and other amenities throughout the trip were beyond what is normally provided by exter

A Campsite Covered in Snow- Pleasant Surprise?

Image
Camp Site Covered in Fresh Snow The students awoke to find the campsite fully covered in fresh snow from the previous night’s snowfall. They were pleasantly surprised. Many of them saw snow for the first time and they rejoiced. We decided to halt our trek for a day, as it would not be very safe in a prevalent snowstorm. We decided to take advantage of the weather and the students cozied up in their tents and even played in the snow during the whole afternoon. Our kitchen team also treated us with a hot and hearty meal for lunch and dinner. It was indeed a day well spent and it helped everyone to regain their energy to go back on the trekking route the following day. - Parag Fatehpuria
